About

Owner-operated. Local since day one.

Bob walks every site. Krista runs the project from the office. Between the two of us, every detail of every job is owned by someone whose name is on the door.

The story

We started this business because most of the projects we wanted to take on — the historic restorations, the weird old houses, the commercial work in occupied buildings — were the projects other contractors didn't want.

That hasn't changed. We still take on the hard stuff. We still run our own crew. We still believe the people who show up on day one should be the same people you walk through on day last.

About the name: it came from a previous chapter — and it stuck. We liked the rhythm. We liked what it meant. The wind keeps prevailing. The work keeps holding up. The power stays in the hands that build it.

What we believe

Four things, plainly.

  1. 01

    Finish what you start.

We don't bid jobs we won't finish, and we don't leave a project at 95%. Punch-list before turnover, not after.

  2. 02

    The crew is the contractor.

The people on day one are the people on day last. Same faces, same standards, every day.

  3. 03

    Tell the truth early.

If something will be hard, expensive, or impossible, we say so on the first walk — not after the contract.

  4. 04

    Sweat the seams.

Where things meet — wood and stone, old and new, framing and finish — is where the work shows. We don't skip those.
