ADU
Detached ADU with Pergola Entry
Detached one-bedroom ADU with a generous pergola entry that ties the new building back to the main house.

The clients wanted a permitted one-bedroom ADU on a tight lot — close enough to the main house to share a garden, separate enough to rent or to host adult kids.
We designed the pergola entry to soften the line between the new building and the existing house, using matching trim and hardware. The pergola also creates a covered transition between the back patio and the ADU door.
Inside, a full kitchen, full bath, in-unit laundry, and a sleeping loft over the living area. All-electric, heat-pump HVAC, and a dedicated panel.
